Religious Freedom vs. Sanitation Rules
this amish man held onto his beliefs so firmly that he was arrested for them. that in itself i do think is brave. however, the problem was the missing outhouse. he wasn't being persecuted for his amish believes, he was not keeping with the city codes for a bathroom. he shouldn't have been arrested but somehow made a compromise with the city officals.
